I feel that this is one of the best websites for elementary school teachers on the internet. There are some incredible links here, as well as message boards on just about any subject a teacher could want.

This is a great fundraising site. It allows a portion of internet purchases you make from selected sites to go straight back to your school, among other things.
Teacher Education
This is a wonderful website for teachers. It has a terrific site devoted to Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences, as well as sites on Bloom's Taxonomy, lesson plan ideas, and other research links.
HealthTeacher.com
This site operates in conjunction with WebMD. It has some great lesson ideas for health lessons, including nutrition and substance abuse awareness.
AskEric
This site, run by Syracuse University, is a tremendous resource for teachers. It has over 1100 lesson plans, among other things.
Chapman University Portfolio Site
If you're trying to compile your professional teaching portfolio, this site has some great ideas for artifacts, particularly if you live in California.
